SPFL 2: Tuesday night under the lights – and Foundation Jacket appealDouglas Samuel’s SPFL 2 side will be looking to build on a three match unbeaten run when they welcome Stranraer to Ainslie Park on Tuesday evening (7.45pm KO). Spartans have scored a trio of goals in each of these games and will be keen to continue finding the net in this rearranged league fixture which is the only game in town. Last season’s fixtures between the clubs – the first between the sides – featured some epic encounters, included the late comeback show from Ayrton Sonkur. Earlier this season, a double from Paul Watson saw Spartans salvage a point at Stair Park after a sub-optimal opening half. Spartans will need to be wary of a Stranraer backlash after a pair of narrow defeats in recent outings and your support on the sidelines will certainly be the 12th man for Sammy and the lads! You can purchase tickets in advance via Fanbase: https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/Tickets/SelectType?fixtureId=6062 This year our colleagues at The Spartans Community Foundation are collecting children’s winter coats & jackets for our community partners. Fans attending the game who are able to support the appeal can hand their donation in at the turnstiles. ![]() |
